The US finally sent the first manned space mission to Mars. The spacecraft gently touched down and the astronaut descended and tested the atmosphere. Low and behold it was safe for people to breathe. He removed his space suit and exited the spacecraft. He was amazed to find himself in a lush green valley surrounded with beautiful wooded hills. He hiked for some distance and came upon a beautiful little white cottage with a lush green lawn surrounded by a white picket fence like something out of Better Homes and Gardens. He walked up to the front door and found it open.
He walked inside, looked around and hearing noises from the kitchen, he went back there. WOW, to his amazement he saw the most beautiful blonde he had ever seen standing over a large pot on the stove. Inside the pot was a gooey mess that she was stirring with a large sthingy. As he watched she kept stirring and stirring.

After a couple hours he finally asked her what she was doing. She replied that she was having a baby. He was quite skeptical but after a couple more hours of stirring she reached down into the gooey mess and pulled out a beautiful baby girl. He told her that was really amazing but that was not the way it was done on Earth.

She asked, "How do you do it on Earth?"

With a twinkle in his eyes he said come on back to the bedroom and I'll show you. After an hour of the wildest sex he had ever experienced he lay back exhausted and lit up a cigarette.

"Well," she said, "where is the baby?"

He said "Oh, that takes nine months."

"Well why did you stop stirring?"

He casually weighed the envelope and said it would cost $ 10.03.I fumbled through my pockets and tallied up my coins. "But I don't have $ 10. 03, " I said. He punched some more buttons and said, "Okay, that will be $ 7. 40, ma am.

¡¡¡¡"Well," he sighed, "exactly how much do you have?"

Someone said that encouragement is simply reminding a person of the "shoulders" he's standing on, wow power leveling,the heritage he's been given. That's what happened when a young man, the son of a star baseball player, was drafted by one of the minor league teams. As hard as he tried, his first season was disappointing, and by midseason he expected to be released any day.
The coaches were bewildered by his failure because he possessed all the characteristics of a superb athlete, wow power leveling,but he couldn't seem to incorporate those advantages into a coordinated effort. He seemed to have become disconnected from his potential.

His future seemed darkest one day when he had already struck out his first time at bat. Then he stepped up to the batter's box again and quickly ran up two strikes. The catcher called a time-out and trotted to the pitcher's mound for a conference. While they were busy the umpire, wow power leveling,standing behind the plate, spoke casually to the boy.

Then play resumed, the next pitch was thrown - and the young man knocked it out of the park. That was the turning point.wow power leveling,From then on, he played the game with a new confidence and power that quickly drew the attention of the parent team, wow gold,and he was called up to the majors.

On the day he was leaving for the city, one of his coaches asked him what had caused such a turnaround. The young man replied it was the encouraging remark the umpire had made that day when his baseball career had seemed doomed.

"He told me I reminded him of all the times he had stood behind my dad in the batter's box," the boy explained.wow gold,"He said I was holding the bat just the way Dad had held it. And he told me, 'I can see his genes in you; you have your father's arms.' After that, whenever I swung the bat, wow gold,I just imagined I was using Dad's arms instead of my own."

War... War never changes. The Romans waged war to gather slaves and wealth. Spain built an empire from its lust for gold and territory. Hitler shaped a battered Gemany into an economic superpower.

But war never changes. In the 21st century, war was still waged over the resources that could be acquired. Only this time, the spoils of war were also its weapons, petroleum and uranium. For these resources, China would invade Alaska, the US would annex Canada, and the European Commonwealth would dissolve into quarreling, bickering nation-states, bent on controlling the last remaining resources on Earth.

The end of the world occured pretty much as we had predicted. In 2077, the storm of world war had come again. In two brief hours, most of the planet was reduced to cinders... a great cleansing, an atomic spark struck by human hands, quickly raged out of control. Spears of nuclear fire rained from the skies. Continents were swallowed in flames and fell beneath the boiling oceans. Humanity was almost extinguished, their spirits becoming part of the background radiation that blanketed the earth. A quiet darkness fell across the planet, lasting many years.


However, a few managed to survive the devistation, reaching the relative safety of great underground vaults. When the great darkness passed, these vaults once again opened and their inhabitants emerged to begin their lives again. From the ashes of nuclear devistation, a new civilization would struggle to arise.

But the wounds run deep, and the Earth has not forgotten.
This is home. Your home. And things are about to change.

Plot Summary: A shadow flits across your path so fast that you’re sure you imagined the whole thing. Maybe you didn’t, because there it went again. While you’re busy trying to see the thing running around you, a howl sounds in the distance, making the hair stand up on the nape of your neck. The shadow is closer now, and though you can’t see it, you can feel it.

Just another day in Forks, Washington. The sky is perpetually overcast, though on the rare occasion the sun actually does make an appearance. In this dreary world are a group of shining angels, if you ever see them shining. To the ‘normal’ people this group is standoffish and act too good for the rest of the world, but normal people don’t know how hard it is for the Cullens to make an appearance among them.

One girl is about to find out. Isabella Swan is your common girl with slightly low self esteem and balance issues; she has no idea how great her appeal to one Cullen is. If only she knew. It's dangerous, what he feels; it's an infatuation, an obsession, which could have very deadly ends, if he let's himself give in.

Edward Cullen tries to stay away from Bella Swan as if his life depended upon it, not just hers and his family's. But he’s unsure how long he can stay away from her. The urge to kill her has given way to something else....something stronger. The urge to see her. With the lingering temptation for her blood and the irresistable challenge she presents it's becoming impossible to do what's right.

And there is where the lines are blurred. Who can tell what is right and what is wrong anymore?

In this world of vampires, werewolves, and humans, where do you fit? Will you break the most sacred of vampire laws? Are you just floating around this place not knowing what’s going on? Or is your sworn duty to protect the humans from those bloodsuckers?
